LETTA, in partnership with Kingston University London, are offering you the opportunity to work and study towards a Foundation Degree in Early Years from September 2024.

Why is this course for you?

This Early Years foundation degree is a two-year higher education degree course, delivered by LETTA in partnership with Kingston University London. It enables you to combine academic study with work-based learning. You will develop theoretical and practice based knowledge for working with young children  in a variety of settings.

Pathway to QTS

On successful completion of the two-year Foundation Degree, you can progress to a work-based learning BA(Hons) top-up programme within the same sector.

Once you have completed the top-up programme, you can progress to LETTA’s school-based Initial Teacher Training programme. On this programme you will gain a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status.

Securing your place on Initial Teacher Training with LETTA

If you aspire to undertake Initial Teacher Training with LETTA in year 4, we will offer you an early interview for a place on the course during year 2. If you are successful, this will guarantee you a place on LETTA’s ITT programme upon the successful completion of your BA(Hons) top-up
