This programme consists of 3 sessions.
This project is designed to support teaching assistants in developing specialist knowledge for teaching mathematics, thus enabling them to understand, teach and support pupils in maths in the classroom. Participants will enhance their maths subject knowledge with an emphasis on the key structures in each mathematical area covered.
The programme is based on four core primary modules:
Number sense
Additive reasoning
Multiplicative reasoning
Fractions Dates
Dates: 13th January, 27th January, 10th February & 24th February 2021
Time: KS2 9.00-11.45am / KS1 12.30-3.15pm
