LETTA in conjunction with THEP are pleased to offer this new primary science course, as part of a local Enthuse project.
Within the day, there will be a chance to develop your understanding of aspects of Ofsted’s review of research into science teaching; notably how to plan units of work which balance and sequence appropriately the teaching of knowledge and skills.
Necessarily, we’ll develop ways of checking prior knowledge at the start of a unit, as part of gaps catch up, among other aspects of effective AfL. Marking and feedback discussions will build on this and come primarily from book looks.
